Chef Rudy’s Maanghang Hot Sauce

What is MAANGHANG? It's Tagalog/Filipino for 'spicy' (pron. MAH-UNG-HUNG). Chef Rudy created his signature sweet, garlicky, habit-forming hot sauce. Much loved since his days at Lamesa Filipino Kitchen in downtown Toronto when he created it for his fried chicken. The new bottle allows for more generous pour and you'll want to put it on everything. Use it as a dipping sauce, marinade or to enhance dressings, pan sauces and soups. Maanghang has a similar level of heat as sriracha. We love it on eggs, too. From breakfast, lunch, to dinner, it's the perfect condiment. :)
